InterContinental Wuxi is situated in the heart of Wuxi City, beside the People’s Great Hall of Wuxi and overlooking the Taihu Square. It is a brand new hotel of 40 floors, consisting of 398 guest rooms, 42 suites and 8 unique restaurants and bars.

The Brief

Hirsch Bedner Associates was responsible for bringing exquisite, “fit for purpose” carpets to the public areas and suite rooms at the luxury hotel. They were keen to use stylish designs that would be suitable for the public area of this business hotel.

Solution

Hirsch Bedner Associates, whom we have worked with on numerous projects are already familiar with our cutting-edge designs. They picked out a base design that could be tailored to suite the requirement and we added new design elements to compliment the backdrop.

We used state-of-the-art, electronic jacquard machine to achieve a non-repeat pattern in the ballroom, blending perfectly into the pre-function area.

Our Services

Out team worked from August 2010, from design briefs to samples approval from client and delivered all carpets to the site before January 2011. Experienced installers installed the carpets according to our flooded floor plans and weaving plans, ensuring a perfect installation.
